BagVac

Collect it, bag it, take it away

BagVac is a high suction capacity unit mounted onto a rigid stand equipped with retractable legs. Designed for both mobile use and fixed installations and for bagging waste materials.

The BagVac’s high suction capacity, together with its flexible discharge system, makes it invaluable in all sorts of industrial situations.

It provides 16.5kw of vacuum power that can pick up microscopic dust to 50mm debris over long distances, both horizontally or vertically, without loss of suction. With its retractable legs the discharge outlet height can be adjusted, allowing the internal hopper to discharge collected material in to any size of bulk bag or container.

Its fully enclosed recovery system means it’ll take care of your team as contaminated debris and airborne dusts are removed quickly and contained safely, before being deposited into bags or containers for removal, or closed-loop recycling back into process. ATEX models are also available.

Its range of flexible hoses and specially designed tool set allows access to all those hard to access catchment areas amongst machinery and its reliability is such that even in really tough working environments it won’t let you down.

Why use BagVac?

The BagVac is easily manoeuvred using a standard forklift truck or crane. As the unit is designed and equipped with outlet for big-bag collection, it is also frequently used for material that needs to be recycled or needs to be packed into bags.

The high suction capacity together with its flexible discharge system makes the BagVac very useful in a wide variety of vacuum cleaning situations. Due to its flexibility the BagVac gets access to most areas where cleaning needs to be carried out without the use of fixed pipe network

BagVac Operation

The vacuumed material is first separated in the BagVac’s specially designed fall chamber hopper with inlet wear protection. In this section all heavier or larger material will fall into the bottom of the hopper. From this section the air stream continues to the main filter system, where the remaining fine airborne dust is separated. Collected material from both the above sections is commonly collected in the BagVac’s hopper.

Discharge of material is made via the automatically operated balance valve at the bottom of the hopper. Discharge is executed parallel to each filter cleaning sequence, which can be set on an automatic timer.

Cleaning of filters is automatic and carried out by a filter cleaning valve (ATM) located between the filter and the vacuum pump. When this valve is activated and opens up, a counter flow of air is sucked in backwards trough the filter bags, meaning that all filter bags are cleaned simultaneously and quickly.

“It’s easy to use, the servicing and support is very good, and as we’ve been using our BagVac for 10 years and longer, it’s incredibly reliable as well.”

“When it comes to servicing, we’ve found that the annual service performed on site is always very good, and the response from any calls we may need to make to the DISAB UK office is always very proactive as well. It’s these sort of details that make all the difference when you reckon up which company you want to go with!”

Client Testimonials

Cleansing Service Group

“The BagVac’s™ an excellent bit of kit, it’s very reliable, clean because everything’s fully enclosed and that means there are no dust issues either. We’ll certainly be using one of these machines again.”

Cogent Power

“The BagVac™ transformed the way we dealt with spent shot. For the first time we could suck up the good shot that leaks constantly from the hoppers, and instead of throwing it away and having to re-order more, we have been able to recycle it back into the shot blasting process.”

Longcliffe Quarries

“The BagVac™ helped us address and achieve key operational objectives including reduced dust generation and exposure, improved housekeeping, and increased efficiency. We think it’s brilliant!”

SITA UK

“The BagVac™ enabled my team to remove two to three tonnes of fly ash and general dust build up from around the EfW plant well within the timing of the maintenance outage we’d planned. It was much faster, and more time was spent cleaning than emptying things or moving equipment around!”

Wood Group

“The BagVac™ was pulling between 5-6 tonnes per hour of grit along 200 metres of hose. That kind of reliability and performance adds a lot of value to the work we’re doing, so we’ve gone ahead and purchased two of them.”
